I get the message OpenGL: OpenGL version is too old! I'm trying to make some Linux games to work well on the NanoPi M4. If anyone has more info on what works well, and how to improve things. On Android you can play playstation and n64, and many more games that run perfect. They`ve got Meveric who does an amazing job optimizing games for the Odroids. If the Odroid N1 would have been sold, then the situation would have been a lot better. That`s a lot less poweful board, but better optimized games. You can even play most on the Odroid C2, a lot better than now on the RK3399. Many of the Linux games work ok, but they all need optimization. ![]() Here again we need drivers and cores made for the RK3399. With RetroArch the 8-bit and 16-bit consoles run perfect. I can say that DosBox works great, so thousands of games there. It should be very able, but we need the right persons for that to do some work. I thought about it to open a threat here for that. I am slowly gathering info on gaming on the rk3399 on Linux. I suppose it would need gl drivers, and be recompiled for it to run in 1080p without a hitch. Is any one else playing Assaultcube what settings are you finding optimize the RK3399? Speed Dreams is a racing game with good graphics and fun gameplay - and did we mention it's totally free? It also allows you to play split-screen so that two players can participate on the same computer at the same time.Is this because the bots are limited to a single CPU thread? and would therefore work better on larger Intel single or dual chips? The difference is that in this game, some of the tactics used by your opponents are pretty advanced and, well, genius - so watch out if you want to stay ahead of the pack. Like with TORCS, in Speed Dreams you'll have a powerful artificial intelligence to compete against, and it won't hesitate to make life difficult for you. Now, probably the most fun mode is the classic 'Career Mode' (as in professional career), where you can take different challenges along a racing season, giving you the ability to compete with many different vehicles along the changing seasons of the year. Speed Dreams includes various playing modes that enable you to compete in dozens of different tracks with all kinds of cars. Probably the best option among these is the wheel and pedals, which lend it the best sense of realism. The first thing to keep in mind about Speed Dreams is that the game can be played using all kinds of devices: keyboard, mouse, Xbox 360 controller, wheel and pedals, and even a joystick. Speed Dreams is an open-source racing game based on the classic TORCS, but with substantial improvements such as new cars, vehicles, and better artificial intelligence, all of which make an awesome experience for casual gamers.
